Thanks!

How do you want it titled above since this seems to be your ongoing adventures?

"On the road too..." seemed fitting since I don't really have a destination, so that works for me. Maybe when I find a destination where it stops or turns around I'll add that location afterwards to the title. Thanks Everett!

Hey Everyone.

I'm going to be launching a 5 month road trip in the spring but I am starting the blog now. Updates twice a week on prepping for van living. Travel and road maintenance from a VW mechanic with 20 years experience.

Many travel blogs cover their break downs, many are stuck for months at a time due to repairs. This blog's focus is how to do your own maintenance, diagnose problems on the road, and keep yourself running without a monthly lowing bill. Every bit of maintenance will be covered from here on out, small or large.

Check it out.

We're a husband/wife design team who have taken our 24-7/365 relationship and minimal lifestyle on the road to learn, teach and pursue a simple life with big adventures! We've been traveling for over 6 months straight in our 1978 VW Westfalia Bus, with our dog and kitten as co-pilots. Next stop...who knows?!

Thanks for this Tcash! This is really awesome! Sorry I didn't see it until now...I'm not our usual family-Samba-monitor :-P (Emma here). Hopefully we will be back to actually "traveling" soon!

Hi all,

I wasn't happy when my husband retired and decided to drive across the country and back in his old VW Bus. But I gave him a camera and a shot list and we ended up having a great time documenting his travels (and travails, lol).

I hope you enjoy this video of the trip from Massachusetts to California...

And the trip home again...

i like your video over many of the ones ive seen that are over produced and try to manipulate my emotions with the music, scenery, and "inspirational" IG quotes. this was cool straight forward and the information on the sites visited was really nice. thank you. i enjoyed your video.

I watched your travel video. Loved it. Just a good way to show what it's all about. I loved how all the cars would fly by not seeing anything and you seeing everything.

Thank you so much! In the beginning of this adventure, I was very distressed about my husband being so far away for so long. But by collaborating on documenting his trip, we ended up as a stronger team. And by watching all the footage, I had the sense of travelling along with him. It's amazing how these old buses can bring people together even when they're apart :)
