Hi Sambas,

Just returned from camping and the sliding door was getting worse and worse.

I’m including a photo, so you can see what the insides look like.

When I try to open the door from the outside, the front edge seems to unlatch, and the rear edge pops out from the side, but the door is impossible to slide. To open, I need to slide from the front, while pulling the back of the door out away from the vehicle.

To latch, the door needs a pretty vigorous sliding slam to fully close.

Problem solving so far (other than taking off the cover). I checked that all the latches where tight and I sprayed some white grease all all the parts I could see

Ever since I got the van, opening the door from the inside always required a bang on the rear edge to pop it out, but I worked well from the outside until this weekend.

Please help! Thanks!

sounds like time to get help taking the door off and servicing all the moving parts, including cleaning the rail and making sure the slide is not sitting on the pin or something. Clean out under the door, lube the rollers, inspect the back latch for broken springs or parts. And please read what Mark linked before starting. Bentley has a good write up on it too. The door is really heavy, get help so you don't drop or tweak it.

a jack stand set to the height of the door bottom ,to set the door on when you lift it off the slider helps with handling the door.in lieu of a helper.

These postings by Colin helped me a lot.
And Robbie showed me that white lithium grease gums up over time and stops the door from opening.

all grease gums up when dirt gets into it. Wipe down the sliding door rail anytime the bus is washed, and put a little fresh non-staining grease on it a couple times a year.
