Doesn’t valve lash overlap achieve this too?
Do people do that on VW motors? The exhaust valve opens slightly while the intake valve is closing to help “suck” some of the spent gas out through the ex ...

So the bug will be his? That’s a good deal. He will enjoy wrenching on it.

It’s supposed to be mounted as high as possible. Jaycee sells the oil cap with the barbed end. Could I just attach apc ...

That is sooooo sweet!
I’m proud of him.
Worst case-you could go with the hex bar setup and ditch the center pull setup.

If it has to be with stock rockers, which is fair enough, I would definitely choose the Web 163, Web 110, CB 2250 or even the Scat C45.
The 163 just about equals the W120 with power, but with less rp ...

Go with some Tim’s super stockers to retain the low-end torque and still have good flow on the upper rpm’s.

What causes the higher compression? Not to derail the thread but was curious.
Is it a tighter piston to head clearances resulting in a tighter “squish” area?

FWIW Briggs and Stratton had a “compression relief valve” on the end of their motors. It would relieve the compression in the cylinder after you stopped the motor.
When you went to re-start the moto ...
