Still a lot of things it could be... including the Temp II sensor which can fail such that it won't allow a warm engine to start. Clue there would be that it starts once the engine has cooled down.

As noted, new shocks are a nut & bolt install - so no reason to go further unless there is a problem. Mine has original bushings everywhere else - those can be very long-lived.
