I remember reading once on this forum about wiring an electric pump with an inertia switch to cut off the pump in the event of a crash. I searched but couldn't find the thread.

Dont want a expensive rime, found early bug has a 15x4.5" with 4 bolt pattern rim so will look for a 185 tire to fit trunk, not sure if there is a smaller tire size for extra room

Have the lights ever worked right for you?

Do the tail lights come on with the switch pulled all the way out? Try with the motor running.

It's hard to tell what color those wires are from the photo, but those wires probably once connected to the factory battery and lead to the diagnostic connector in the engine compartment.

I donít have the setup youíre talking about but if I wanted to torque down a nut like that Iíd be reaching for a crow foot wrench and my favorite torque wench.
