Great mod. Just picked the light up from local junkyard. Now to figure out what you use for an Escutcheon plate.
For what it's worth... I fashioned that one out of wood and painted it.

You don't, ... But I think lifting the front end hastens air movement from the horizontal hoses to the radiator bleed valve. Confused

If you are using a relay type SurePower or Yandina device to connect the batteries while driving you only need to connect your new charger to the main battery.
I did the GW kit... i.e. they are not ...

At 2amps, I would think that charger is on the small side for charging your house, and potentially starting battery.

Yes and yes. The monitor is a dual LP/CO detector on a switch that I use when camping (sleeping in the van and using the cooktop, heater buddy, etc.). You can see it here: Ahh, thank you.
