That's the noise my 2.3wbx made right before the #3 rod exposed itself through the top of the case. Hope this is not the situation here.

Can you physically move the window up by hand from the inside? If yes you should be able to get it into a position where you can access the bolts.

I am hoping the main fuel is just resting between the left side intakes and has not been hooked up yet.

Just guessing but maybe an overheating fuel pump? It may require waiting for it to fail again before you can verify by opening the fuel bleeder and seeing if there is fuel.

How many miles are on the engine? Be careful, the oil pressure warnings may be telling you the truth.

Could be related to the throttle position switch (TPS). If you have an ohmmeter the Bentley has the procedure for testing it.
