Yep. Mine is disconnected, but it starts in single digit temperatures.

Both turn signals come on when I use left or right.

Yes, unplug the reverse lights from that shifter switch. It appears you have a short downstream from there, causing your no-voltage measurement when put into reverse.

I used 5/16 fuel injection hose from the auto parts store. It works perfectly.

Unless you're entering the car in a judged show, there's no need to worry about the appearance of the fuel lines.

And just to clarify, these are the lines coming from the fluid reservoir, which the OP is mistakenly calling a slave cylinder.

Yes, there's only the one test port for the fuel pressure.

The fuel supply runs through the tunnel and comes out on the left side. The return line is on the right side.
