Watching just a few seconds of that video, all i can say is WOW.

Never thought of using a drill bit as a punch.

The vacuum only in the video is nothing like the vacuum/mechanical.

You'll want to replace the rear tin, there are opening for heat risers. These are right above the #2 and #4 exhaust tubes and will let hot air into the engine compartment. Until you get a re ...

If it is an actual Volkswagen head, it should have a 14mm plug. A good 14mm 3/4 reach non-resistor plug would be an NGK BP6ES, or modern NGK number of 7333.

Yes... they size of the shaft changed in 74 so a post 74 wheel will not fit you 72.

You could change the steering column to a later model to make it fit.

ACE Hardware has M4 screws for $0.10 which is a lot cheaper then the cost of mailing one sin ...
