I just had a master go out on me. Mine leaked internally so the pedal was soft. If is a slow external leak, and you have a good solid pedal, you'll be fine. Drive way ahead though.

Procured an FTE master cylinder yesterday and will install today. Do you guys think the clutch hydraulics need bleeding too when changing the master cylinder? Doesn't really seem like it..

I think he probably means the air filter element is missing. The housing and AFM are in place though. Definitely get an air filter in there.

Right. Mounting to the gutters is probably the best and most versatile solution. I just need to get it high enough. May have to fab brackets.
