If they are scat imitations would they still be good to use? I was thinking of using them in my stroker build for my’63 bug. It will be mostly all street driven.

I have a new set of rods that have no markings or part numbers that would suggest a brand name. They do have arp style bolts with the name “scat” stamped on the top of the head of the bolt.

Have any pics of a bug like you are talking about there? I know they had standard bugs with no trim or gray painted trim and bumpers but did not now of any with body color trim.

Thanks. I think those water blue seats look good but WCCR seat covers in that color fabric would be killer with the Indigo blue! Are you thinking matching door panels as well?

Sharp64, awesome looking car. Love the color and I think the matching running boards just adds the right touch with the whitewall tires. Cool!

Hey, that's a thought! But how hard would it be to match the vinyl to the body color?
