I may have a set off early heat exchangers with the ďclayĒ type insulation on them. Not sure when the started, but I think they had switched to the wrap style before my car was built (Oct 62)

Nice job with the motor. I would do the same thing with the fan shroud, just leave, it it looks great in bare aluminum. I wonder if thereís any kind of oil or wax that would prevent it from corroding ...

Itís late, need a carb to intake gasket, some tin screws, clamps (some are on there way, still need bellows clamps) and the correct plug wires, but with luck I should have it in and fired tomorrow.
