I've never peened any ball joints I've replaced. I removed two ball joints that were peened - huge pain in the ass!

Normally you use a pipe that fits over the axle and a hammer to drive the bearing home.

No need to tap, pound, beat the bearing on to the axle - it's not good for the internal transmission parts. I ...

Did you remove the dip stick? There's two tubes - one tube is attached to the shroud and the other is attached to the engine. You shouldn't have to move, slide or remove the tubes.

The short one goes on the top on the right side with the nut side facing down. The other three the nuts are facing up....... I think. Think

I have a small nut reduction box setup. I think? Isn't that whats in a 62? I'm guessing it doesn't make a huge difference?

At 60 mph your engine would spin close to 275 RPMs less if you changed jus ...

Is that church key mounted so that a camper may exit the hatch?

I never thought of that. It was there when I bought the bus. I use it to open the engine lid and gas door.
