Yes, I remember the first wave. Hobie boards, Red Rider trucks , Kryptonic white wheels, all balls no brains- ripping down Columbine St. In Boulder Colorado.

Bad place to park a car in those days.

Mongol just pawn, in game of life. pretty much sums up the way I feel anymore. Life is change, I just would like more of it to make rational sense rather than being supported by sound bites.

Local new car dealer is painting 20 year old Hondas in house and putting them on the lot for $10K ,and getting it. You own the Suby and it's serviceable, case closed.

They are less horrible than other new cars. make sure you still have a machine shop in your area. Many parts of the country no longer provide that service. I'd fix it if I was an owner of such machine ...

Obscene, akin to a hot dog eating contest. Yet o-so American. I go the other way, lots of VW's in the corral and zero at the show ( mostly snob-fests in my experience).

69-71 columns use a different bracket and mounting point on the dash. They are not easily adapted.
