The Eastwood Company makes a tool to remove the hinge pins. I have one but have not tried it yet-but it looks like it should work well.

If there is no clutch cable tube, you might consider going with a hydralic clutch-they are under $200 complete and will save you the major PITA that Glenn mentioned
