Hey Gage

Just put the same tank in my '72 for a subaru swap.
I ended up using a hole saw to make it fit.

I assumed the fuel injection buses had a different tank shelf, but guess not. It bolts ...

I just received a set of 021998031a plug wires from bus depot. The brand they sent me is Prenco Performance Max. Made in Canada.

I haven't installed them as I'm still waiting for my recently purch ...

You could try to heat up the spindle a little. Also I've had better luck with Pb Blaster than wd-40.Are you replacing the ball joints?
