I recently purchased a muffler strap from Van Cafe and it arrived with a GoWesty tag on it. Am I missing something?

SO - I was right about the exhaust, but wrong about the filter. What's on there is a MAHLE OC25 with a height of 92 mm (3 5/8 in.). The MANN W712/80 is 80mm (3 5/32 in.) so, yeah almost a half inch ...

Thanks for the replies- further examination seems to confirm my suspicions. I'll verify tonight, but I believe that it has the Mann W712/80 installed. I can barely slide my fingers between the top ...

Hello - the 1.9 to 2.1 swap in our 84 Westy is a VERY LONG story. Here's the problem - I just realized I cannot remove the oil filter- the exhaust manifold prevents it from unscrewing fully. Coul ...

You all feel confident letting it run on LP overnight, or if you leave the van at the campsite for some reason? I'm just anticipating my wife's concerns.

VWinVt - for my bench test, I started it with the drain plug in and out. Didn't seem to make a difference. Ultimately, I've been starting it with the plug in, as recommended by the manual.

Success! Ran it on 110 for about an hour, then went through the LP start up procedure. After a few pops, it started up, and I let. It run about 1 1/2 hours. It was already chilling down. Tomorrow, ...

Thanks- 1984 Wolfsburg. It's just frustrating that I had it working so well on the bench, only to have it fail in the van. I guess knowing that it CAN work is something- I'm not beaten yet.

I finally got around to pulling the fridge. Went through all the checks on the bench- 12v and 110v both worked as they should. Cleaned all the LP lines, cleaned out the combustion chamber and jet, ...

Definitely not the belt or compressor. Noise seems to come from directly under the driver's floor. BTW- just entered Wheeler, Texas.

The 500's came with a relay. The unit draws signal voltage from the high beam wire and runs through a panel mount switch. If I replace the leg from the high beams off the switch, does the new source ...

Just picked up some Hella 500 driving lights, and noticed that they are tapped into the high beam lead, which means they will only come on with the high beams. Is this to comply with some motor vehic ...
