My ‘75 Super La Grande had the plastic chrome window trims. This was factory. Not sure exactly when the factory started doing this but I believe early ‘70’s.

Walter,

Make sure you check your front inner fender wells. I thought I had a fairly rust free car. This is the cancer I found after removing the fronts.

Yes, that is a water drain tube on the left. I am talking about the two black angled rubber pieces to the right of the corrugated tube.

The rubber plugs at the bottom sill of both rear fenders have these angled heads inside the fender spaces. Anyone know the purpose of these and why they are shaped like this?

Yep. The seats were sprayed in 1975 when I was building this Squareback. Time flies... it’s hard to believe, really.
