This is the reason I do not use 1.9 blocks on any of my rebuilds. The thrust brg. is the problem. If the thrust in the block has been pounded stock is .826 if the thrust is below the .826 the brg. wil ...

I have never seen .25 .010 line bore brgs for the 1.9 wbx engines. I know the 2,3 & 4 brgs are bug type but the thrust brg is special to the 1.9 block. I have seen some all aluminum lathe made 1.9 ...

If the block is a 1.9. I would look for a 2.1 (B) block. Much better then a 1.9. Can't be that hard to clearance the inside for rod clearance. Or have the block align bored to .50 .020. The one pc. th ...

The OD of the 2.1 #1 brg. Is 2.603. The 1.9 OD is 2.759 so the 1.9 block is already bored two big. 7 out of 10 1.9 blocks are in need of align bored and the thrust area has wear. No one makes a .020 l ...

Even with the 1.9 bolts the big ends will have to be shaved cap & beam and re-sized with new pin bushings. I have rebuilt rods sets on the samba. Rocky

Yes the kits are all the same. I have rebuilt lots of the dcnf carbs I like them and they work great. I know you have 42 berg dcnf's if the numbers are ground off the flat side of the float bowls.
