I donít see the need to jump through hoops to replace that gasket. It doesnít look bad and after a light coat of hylomar it should work just fineit gets really brittle with age.

no. You have to clamp the cylinders down, measure the dish or dome, measure the head camber with a spark plug in it, then calculate it based on the bore and stroke if you know it. Each case, head etc ...

small hole on top. suck on it. If you get a vacuum that holds it is good. If you don't get a vacuum the diaphragm is bad. DO NOT clean the inside or solvents will dissolve the diaphragm

again, this does not look right. oil and fuel is washing away the carbon & it looks like there is damage to the seat, or seat area. That seat may be loose.

when you say imbalance you mean what? Unbalanced appearance in parts? Wobbles? One works better than the other so unbalanced braking?
