I have the seleniod from the gowesty kit that you can have for much less... I am using a battery isolator that cost $$$$$$$$

Hey at the very least cutting away some bad metal allows you to treat the other areas easier.

For inspiration, take a look at Benplace.com to see how bad it can be and how good it can get.

Crapola that sounds like what I have. This may be from and event back in 2002 when my voltage regulator went bad and my alt was putting out a nice 20V + and boiled my battery.

THe air allows you to check your fittings for leaks before you fill. If you take to an RV place they will purge the tank the first time it is filled.
