Fronts will rub under full lock, and a tiny bit of rub at the back of the dogleg under compression (fast corners) or with a heavy loaded front seats (two passengers)

Would that be due to the ET or ...

Thats not an 81, its an 80. Metal rear vents were a 80 exclusive one year only, 81 west to plastic inserts.

Standalone relays usually have a tab with a hole to mount them with a screw or a clever ziptie when you dont want holes.

The battery boxes should BOTH have a hold in the bottom drilled specificall ...
