That looks to be roughly the same color family as my '86, but mine had the "instant-shred-upon-touching" upholstery. Perhaps the Euro versions had more options?

That's intriguing -I've been wondering about swapping a later cluster w/ tach myself, like from a Cabriolet or something. Definitely keep us posted if you get it to work.
