Maybe your O2. The sensor only becomes active after full warmup. If it is giving a bad signal your gas/air mixture could be way off. That's what I would look at next.

I do not have an aux. battery relay, but I have not looked at the alt. regulator as Dogpilot mentioned to see if it solved this issue. Looks like a pretty inexpensive 'try'....if yours is replaceable ...

ICV is right on top of the motor attached to the black j tube. Cannister looking thing...pull the white plug off the end when its doing the idle issue and see what happens.

There is no lower chamber. Your leak/hole is likely along the side of the tank not the bottom and it drained to that point.
