If your heads were loose youd hear it before seeing oil. Gallery plugs can leak. Oil pressure switches often leak. You should have use UV dye and. Black light before you pulled the engine.

I was leaning toward cold start valve too. The other thing to look at would be auxiliary air regulator based on what your decribing.
