I think my plan going forward is to fill that whole area with stainless steel scrubbies, as in cram as many in there as I can. Now's the time since my fridge is out.

Waldo, that's a great suggestion. Unfortunately I don't have an existing grommet to add sealant to.

Mark provided a link to the replacement part above.

To the OP, I'd just squirt a bit of sealan ...

I understand your point but this isn't a grommet for the wire. It's for the antenna shaft. For me it would be simpler if I could find the grommet.
