Easiest way to tell is to get the OP to check it with a fridge magnet...
If it don't stick you got a whole lot of filler in there...

I need the glass for the Perohaus 1954/55 clock. I'll buy a junker clock to use the glass, as my clock is in good shape, missing glass.

Ford Pop rims were simular to the VW wide 5 - perhaps they could be Ford wheels?

My car is a late oval ('57)
Euro spec (in RHD) - semaphores - with american spec bumpers (towel-rails) with the extra plate in the spare wheel well...

I will also need a repro reinforcement plate ...

If you had done this before GDPR arrived - you could have applied to the DVLA for all the history that they hold about your car - previous owners details, copies of the old log books etc.

I just took the front wheel off and routed the soft line into a can and let gravity do the rest...
I had a full tank so it took a while to drain - but at least it all came out....

Have you considered doing a batch in white rubber?

I have had no interest in the usual black rubber - I can ask if white rubber is an option...

So far as I am aware - I am yet to make the upgrade myself - the dual circuit braking system comes into its own during a failure - whereby in the single circuit system you would loose all of the fluid ...

Its a '57 engine - so just normal nuts - not the hex heads...

I removed the studs for the manifold and vola! my normal socket fits and I was able to remove the nuts....

BTW - a 15mm 1/4 drive so ...

Mine is not vented...
Just be sure that the petrol cap doesnt fit too tight else it will stop the tank from being able to pull air in from the outside... and stop the flow of petrol!
