My 65 has only 1 brake light working, on the drivers side. Iíve checked the bulb, cleaned connections, switched units from the known good one on the drivers side to the passengers side and no luck. ...

add provisions for crankcase venting, the stock venting was removed. double on the fuel filter, the 95 cent filter can leak fuel right on the sparking dizzie, that is always bad.

It sounds like you have diagnosed this accurately as brake fluid, but I would just make sure its not water from recent rains (mine tends to puddle there).

if you're sure it's brake fluid, then 100% ...
