I finally installed the lever for the vanistan fresh air vent. Looking good. Ill end up clipping the lever part on a U bolt somewhere on the dash when i get there.

what dash is that youve got going on?

I went for the AEB 1.8t with the 16v steel oil pan (dirt cheap and strong)

The 16v pan fits the old style AEB block and is shallow and is steel so can take ...

I am in-process on this conversion.
... and keeping the trans in the same position..

You dont HAVE to modify the mounts to do this, you just need to build some robust way to bring the rear mounts ...

when i measure the lift off the deck of my boxeer which is in, but not completed yet.. its about 3/4" at minimum. Add the metal material and some lift so that the injectors dont bang the riser.. ...

Hmm.. yah, i have one of these HTOMT 2 in 1 Brake Bleeder Kits.. i pumped and pumped off the clutch line at the slave and never seemed to get anything to return.

ill try the broom or the join line ...
