the engine went back in and the sound was still there. i have pulled the engine and have a set of conrods, all new bearings, and new thrust washers to install. hoping to have this all back together ...

replace the rods. i pulled my 2.1 last night (can do it in less than 2 hours) because i rebuilt it and gambled on the rods. for $85 from DPR, it's solid piece of mind that everything is within spec. ...

I want a Swiss Army knife with flat and Phillips screwdrivers and a 13mm wrench. Then I can fix everything.

would be a pain to adjust the lifters, not impossible, just a pain with an all in one.
