I ran aloha racks for 20 years. A while back I gave the bus a face lift and took the Sundial Camper spare tire off the front and put it on the roof.

I used the Nice and Easy Rack for the gutter fee ...

So if I were to purchase a new, welded, painted and balanced fan from Gene Berg it should fit nicely, be more efficient, not blow up or rust?

I read that the fan width changed with the DH shroud in 1971.

It looks like the fan is narrow for the shroud.

The shroud looks to be aftermarket.

Original fan on aftermarket shroud? Empi?

Using a square off the roof rack on our 1960 walk thru panel camper conversion, getting about 56" (1422.4mm) from outer gutter edge to outer edge on the other side. Probably need about 3/8" ...

Im assembling a modified Nice and Easy Rack for surfboards with a spare tire platform.

Modifications are bored out tube holders to accept Yackima cross bars, spacers to elevate the cross bar above ...
