The only conclusion I can come to is the more narrow seat bottoms are late oval beetle.

I always thought in 65, they made the seat bottom more narrow when measure front to back, but I just pulled one out of a 66 that has the longer measurement, so now I am second guessing and can't find ...

Dave, how close a fit is a late 55-67 bus horn button in that wheel (or a batwing bug era for that matter?

I suppose I could pop my horn button out of my 55 oval wheel and check.
