I stumbled upon a aircraft rebuilding firm that mills an O-ring groove into their engine cases.

I had a place in the United States do it for me. It helped, but it wasn't a magic bullet. If you want to try a change that will make a huge difference, downsize your master cylinder.

If they're all aluminum, you'll have to replete them after they're opened up. The last time I checked (10 years ago), the plater LN uses charged $1000 for a set of 4 cylinders.
