See where the rubber overlaps the breastplate ? Just got it 1/2 inch from that. The rubber will cover the cut.

Use the breast plate from the engine you want to use. In your case the 1600. Trim it right where the flat turns down. I have a 60 and a 61. The 60 had a smaller engine compartment.

My local shop wants $60 to match the paint, $45 more for a 12 oz spray can. Iíve bought a coupla cans from online suppliers, and they donít match at all, despite crazy $.

I havenít found any of the TS switches to be good. A small piece of 80 grit sandpaper inside will keep it from spinning. Also the canceling cam may need adjustment to cancel out after a turn.

Not sure what the problem is....

I have a 2180 with FK8 and Steve Tims heads and have no problem with just both valve covers vented to a Berg breather.

Regarding the pulley, you have to change to a different one and not change anything else to truly know. I had a pulley where the O.D of the spiral was slightly smaller, and wouldnt seal.
