Looks great! I know when I build swing away's for my Jeeps years ago, I always used some sort of bushing or bearing. Keeps it smooth and not ovaling like you mentioned.

I prefer to cruise at 65-70.. and that was always the upper limit for mpgs/comfort/noise/driving ease when I had my 2.1s in the '89.
The SVX, of course, can do much more.. and I opened it ...

I assume you have the stock 14" size? Not a lot of choices there for a load rated tire. Just get one in your budget that is the stock size and load rating.

I wouldn't pay that much unless there was video evidence of how well the paint job was done, there was documentation of the motor being from GoWesty, Rocky Jennings or some other well regarded rebuild ...
