Set the desired advance on the gun and then look for the TDC mark (the dimple, not your added mark) on the pulley to line up, at the proper RPMs, with where the case halves join......no paper template ...

Looks like the one in the eBay link I sent you earlier was spot on...yours certainly are in a lot better shape than the one pictured on eBay.

If those are genuine Recaro...they could be worth $3 - $5K each.

They look like early 911 sport seats.

I am sure the Porsche crowd will weigh in.

Thanks for clearing that up...so no US 40 HP engines had bearings (except factory remanufactured)?
