If I had to quess without seeing the car assuming the door alignment problem is on the channel replacement side who ever installed the Chanel f'd up.

They should have never painted a ride with out ...

did you replace the heater channels ? I spent an entire day getting mine right on my 63.

Like a dumb ass I was applying weight on the channels when I was welding them back in, leaning and sitting ...
