Looks like they got removed for some reason, not sure if that part is available new? But there are plenty of junk frames available with that piece still attached. Tack them on and touch up the paint ...

As I slowly try to finish my bus resto, I've run into an odd issue. Decided to reinstall hardware to use the pop outs, but it seems I'm missing a piece. I've taken a photo of the existing window and ...

Looks like they used a bit of a kick out on the left left of the bays as well. Not sure if I wound up with a cobbled seat or not. It does have the proper inserts for '66 grab bars at least, though i ...

Thanks, man. Not sure if mine is more bowed, but it's close. Guess I'll have to wait for my bus to come back from the shop. Did they make flip seats on Bay's? I had a new '71, but no flipper, but ...

After looking at many photos in the Gallery, I can't see a single flipper middle that has this sort of angle in the outer leg below the flipper seat. Looks like someone rebuilt the seat and did a poo ...

Thanks, Clara. I was able to use some of the backer board I had laying around and since it tucks into a slot behind the center beam on the 2/3 seat, it actually fits quite well. For the flip seat I ...

Is there supposed to be as much of an offset between the flipper seat frame and the main frame? I've looked at hundreds of photos on this site and while some frames don't quite line up, this one seems ...

Nice work. I did do my rear and front seats and they came out reasonably well, though far from as nice as yours. I'll just go burlap, then, since the middle is really just for show and I don't imagi ...

Several questions which I've tried to research here. Please note that my deluxe is "nice", but never gonna be show quality. I purchased the hair seat pads and covers from WW. I'm covering ...

Fabulous stuff and thanks to all who posted. As might be typical in older buses, the PO did a complete hack job on wiring and actually brought it up through the rear deck and tucked wires underneath ...

Thanks all. Looks like the tube the wiring harness runs through is shot. I've searched all over, called WW and haven't found a thing. Probably not a huge deal since it's probably been rotted out fo ...

Been looking at a lot of complete wiring harnesses and there's roughly a $100 discrepancy in prices. Over the years, I've purchased a lot from Wolfsburg West and generally been satisfied, though I've ...

Perfect! Thanks. How did you attach the backer board to the seat frame?
I've seen it duct-taped, but I doubt that's how the factory did it.

I bought a stripped down middle--no covers, no backing. If memory serves me correctly, the ashtray screws into a metal plate which, I believe, is riveted to the cardboard backing. I located an ashtr ...

But they do! See my post above; it's right on their website as well:

Sometimes its better to just pay the extra dough and ship through a company that will insure it 100%, especially on a item like a middle seat.. for piece of mind anyway.

Here's a great update; Grey ...
