i have installed them on a 2276 engine.

throttle body had to go back to holley 3 times before it was good

i wouldnt go any narrower than a 235 on the 8" wheel, they start to look stretched. i run a 245/60-15 on my 8" front wheels. about 26" tall & about 9" tread width. about 9 1/2 ...

i like these wheels. had a couple cars with them back in the day. you can fit a F60-15 or a 235/60-15 on the back of a short axle bug with them

36hp seals dont sit flush, they stick out a little bit.
maybe the factory one did but all of the seals currently supplied at least stick out a little. never had a problem with it

they are aircraft gaskets and the work great. years ago i made some from sheet rubber, that engine never leaked. in fact the oil sump plated even got rusty.
