Yes, those are the pins. Though the set did not come with the 3 metal pieces shown in the picture you provided. Do I need those?

I haven't notice gas leaking from the cap. It would make since that the gas filler hose is the problem being the fumes appear after filling up.

Can I get a gas filler hose from my local auto parts ...

I don't think that bolt tighten's anything.

I believe he is talking about the stud with a nut on the inside of the case that secures the oil pickup tube.

I don't think that bolt tighten's anything. I think they are just studs screwed into the case for the oil screen and gasket. If you can back it out all the way and clean it up along with the nut tha ...
