I have a 62 bug. The pans have some surface rust but no holes. I want to put some por-15 on the pans and chassis both top and bottom. Do you think i should remove the body so i can get to more things ...

I did a search and didn't find anything so i am going to ask.

So what do you need to do to turn a Stale Air Engine into a Fresh Air. Is all you have to do is change the shroud and get heater boxes

I dont know if i want to go as far as a body off but i do want to redo all the interior and paint interior and exterior. There is no rust in the floor pans so that is a good thing.

I am looking to restore my 62. It has a 1200cc engine and i need some 83mm pistons and cylinders. Does anyone know where i can get some? I looked at jbugs and they only have 85mm
