Please fill us in on how this ends up. Details would be awesome, like if you have to replace the switches/controls and any tips tricks for removing and installing the seat covers.

Our '01 has the same issue, I posted on it back a year or two ago while on a road trip. I think there was some sort of a module with air/vacuum connected to it that the brake pedal activates.

I forget the lamp part number but I can confirm that LED options are available providing good light and energy saving. I also greased up the switch while it was out and it works smoother now.

Follow up 1-year after completing this pull out drawer project.

For anyone even remotely considering this, DO IT! This drawer has been a huge improvement to convenience and efficiency.
