It's fine to powercoat them. Covering the threads isn't necessary just run a tap through them before assembly.

The Porsche fuel pump has a little more psi over the previous 36hp fuel pump I was using.

That they do... I first tried a Porsche pump with the WW Okrasa carbs. They were overwhelmed...had to go ...

I used mine for a cigarette lighter. I dont smoke but charging cell phones is easier. I converted to 12v too.

There is a number under the rear seat, near the access plate for the shift linkage.

My colors from off my headlights are USA and Germany. That's my nationality.
Most cars start with the stock color and just start painting logos on them ...

Great way to revamp the shifter!
So did you use the Renault 4cv lid for oldschool additional cooling slits?

Yes the 4cv decklid has the same curve as the VW deck lid. I pop riveted it in place.
