crazyvwvanman- Why would removing the tach wire from the coil resolve this?

what was the tach doing when engine misfires???

If it drops suddenly, definately an ignition issue.

My cure was a new coil. No problems after replacing the coil.

Find the carpet you want, and cut to fit
the cargo floor in Westy. I have factory carpet,
and put a 'remnant' piece of carpet over it.

Yep, JB Weld is amazing.

I've repaired intercoolers, gas lines, oil pans,
much more than I'd care to admit.

Never tried the exhaust repair JB.
Like you mentioned, if it fails, no welder will ...

My Tiico had a serious crack -all the way around- the pipe.

Good Advise! I found a small local muffler shop with 70's musclecars
parked in front, and got it welded for only $20 !!!!

Yep, The chinese stole the design,
It's just a copy of the expensive Euro heaters.

Now the $800-$1200 diesel heaters
are less than $200.
