If no answer shows up take a look on CiP1 web site. They show many fasteners in the hardware section in parts...most are sold in bulk but it is a place to get your feet wet

I used a simple toggle switch that fit in the existing hole. Available at any parts store or electric supermarket

Same story in my 76. I found a guy parting out a bus in the classifieds. It seems to me the tracks changed over the years so do your homework .

You can often find your answer to what fits what by looking at a parts catologue ie. CIP1.com. Find your bug mirror and see if it also fits bus

Well the honking horn is caused by the brass/copper contact mounted to the turn signal mechanism. The fuse blowing is anybodys guess but it all works now. Thanks guys.

Get a paint stir stic. Cut it to length so it sits in the sliding window trough. Done
We use a wood 2x3 to block our sliding glass door...same thing

I've tried to isolate which wire is the trouble
It doesn't seem to be the flasher unit, new emergency switch .

The stem/shaft that the wiper mounts to is probably seized. Was yesterday part of your overhaul?

Let me take a shot at this...if your bus was a Westfalia the electric outlet would be back further toward the rear adjacent to the fridge. The wiring is all concentrated in that area.
