Looks like a chenowth short back to me.. S BK would denote that. Top number is the serial.

That plate probably says chenowth chassis under the paint. Tape the area off and apply some paint stripp ...

Those lights are designed to not use that ring.. If you want it you will have to do some hacking.

I think what he's asking is if the spring loaded tubes will affect the torque values when wrenching down the heads..

Then I put in my 57 oval... get this, $17,200 !!

If it were me, I'd 600 it all slick and try again. Base did not lay down well.. too much pressure or too fast of a reducer.

Nothing wrong with using single stage inside... I think they're telling you this to make it easier and save you the step of clearing it. Matching may be an issue if you are using metallic though..
