Good chance someone removed the headrests and re-upholstered them. Agree they look 69+.
That's my thought as well. The fact that they fit the '69 and later track width likely confirms this impressi ...

Yes, 1969 is when the seat track width changed, so any ghia seat from 1969-1974 should fit your seat tracks. Not true for 1968 and earlier seats.

Not really. As mentioned earlier, 1969-74 ghia seats have a different seat track width, so your best bet is to look for 1967 and earlier low back ghia se ...

What are the specs on your 1776? Stock heads? Heater boxes? Assuming "yes" to both, you'll be looking for a 1 3/8" exhaust that works with heater boxes. I'm partial to four-into-one ...

I believe it is a 13/16" spark plug socket. Yes, everything else is metric, but spark plug sockets stayed SAE until recently.

Yes, 1967 bumpers will fit on a 1971, but the rear overriders on the 1967-69 bumpers wrap around the corners whereas the 1970-71 overriders do not. See this thread for details:

As to the question of whether it's worthwhile, for a stock 1600 DP, I'd personally rather track down a set of rebuilt Dellorto 36 DRLAs from alfa1750 on e-Bay, order linkage, air cleaners, and manifol ...

FYI, "40 horse" refers to the 1200 cc rated as 40 bhp SAE gross or 34 hp DIN. Same engine, different hp rating depending on rating method/system.

What is the VIN?
If it starts with 149, it's a 69. If it starts with 140, it's a 70.
Check both the VIN on the pan tunnel, and the VIN on the badge in the front trunk and see if they match.

The introduction of front disc brakes on '67 and later model year ghias is why the switch to 4 x 130 mm lug pattern wheels occurred. Although 5 x 205 mm (wide 5) disc brakes exist now, they didn't ba ...
