It's actually 4.5mm, but some places list it as 4mm some places list it as 4.5mm and some places list it as 5mm.

VW part # is N203751.

Sorry that was an error on my part I meant to say the lack of a check valve in the pump can cause the CARB to fill with fuel and dump into the case- with the fuel pressure overwhelming the needle valv ...
