That's a bummer! Thanks for the input guys! I went ahead and ordered both of the eBay ones and will also give the needle nose pliers a shot. At twelve bucks a pair figured I'd give it a shot. Thanks.

Good to know, I've got a bunch of needle nose pliers I'll try it on. Rust avenger, did you ever figure out what was going on with your trans?

I'm really hoping it's not the R&P, but we'll see. The chuncks from the drain plug are below. Hard to say what it's from, but they were torn apart pretty good!

Yeah. I've only owned it for a week but I've probably put 50 easy miles on it around town with no noises or issues. I've been searching the forums for similar symptoms with no luck.
