yes, there is no way thats a 300k built car, and if it is, the owner got robbed.


poor custom choices....like the majority of that car...rarely hold their initial value.

be aware that there is a clock spring on the front side of the 3/4 carb. You may need to check the nuts on the front sides of the carbs as well.

always make adjustments on an engine when it is up ...

Are you looking at a 218/119 split grind?

I got the 218 with a 108LC from Aircooled.net


AC.net lists the 218 with .455 lift with 1.1 rockers

I fail to see how additional springs would increase drivability or decrease fatigue. Its just going to make the pedal feel stiffer, and put undue stress on the cable and all of the links/connections/ ...

additional springs should NOT be used. If you need additional springs other than the factory springs, you have a problem.

yes, as rick stated above, there was obviously something wrong with that seat and its NOT your fault if you're finger tightening with a small screw driver. Don't let dale beat you down.
